CVG ebike loan scheme

Caithness Voluntary Group is working with Home Energy Scotland (HES) and is pleased to offer an ebike trial for your use. It will be checked over by a trained mechanic and will hopefully give you many hours of enjoyment, whether you use it for leisure or work.

HES is managed by EST ( Energy Saving Trust) and ebikes remain the property of EST at all times. EST or HES reserve the right to recall a loan bicycle at any time if they feel that someone else could be making better use of it.

CVG will be receiving two bikes on August 10th and will be offering people a trial for 3-4 days. Equipment will be provided with the loan. If you are interested in trying an ebike and are over 18 years please contact yvonne@cvg.org.uk. In response to coronavirus restrictions, social distancing measures in line with Scottish Government advice will be followed during drop off, maintenance and collection. At the chosen location the advisor will wipe the bike down to disinfect, step well back to allow you to take the ebike whilst maintaining 2m distance at all times. It is advised you wipe down the ebike with a kitchen disinfectant spray or warm soapy water prior to use.
