COMMUNITY CONSULTATION DAY
FOCUSSING ON DRUGS, ALCOHOL AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
Tuesday 19 th February at
PULTENEY CENTRE, HUDDART STREET, WICK KW1 5BA
10.45 to 1.30 followed by light lunch
I would like to invite you to our consultation day. We want to hear of inequalities in Wick for people within this target group, also we want agencies or groups to tell us how they are affected by these issues.
The only way to do this is to have an open and frank conversation to hear the views of everyone. It would be beneficial if agencies or group representatives coming can identify and take along service users or members of the public who will be willing to take part in the consultation. We hope to have small group discussions/ workshop around individual tables and guest speakers from agencies, groups and substance users. These talks will hopefully reveal what we, as a community need to focus on or deliver in Wick.
The PPP are looking at exploring a holistic multi agency approach similar to that being run in Lothian
where service users are delivered a person centred service using multi agencies delivering a seamless service to the community.
The information you give will be fed back to the Wick and Community Locality Plans.
