The Highland Volunteer Award is based upon the same principles as the Saltire Awards but it is for all volunteers over the age of 25.  You can receive certificates to recognise the volunteering that you do.

What does this involve?   It means you have to register with Catherine at CVG and follow the same process as the Saltire Awards. i.e. keep a log of the hours you volunteer.

How many hours do I need?

The levels are:

Introduction = 50 hours

Bronze = 100 hours

Silver = 200 hours

Gold  = 350 hours

Platinum = 500 hours

Excellence = 700 hours

There is also an individual challenge certificate for people who have helped out at individual events

This is a simple way to achieve recognition for volunteering that you probably do anyway.  So sign up today!!!!   contact Catherine Patterson 01955 605002 for more information about any or these awards.
