Henry Duncan Awards In 2010 the main grant programme has been named the ‘Henry Duncan Awards’ in honour of The Rev’d Henry Duncan who funded the first Trustee Savings Bank - which ultimately led to the establishment of the Foundation - 200 years ago this year.
This programme was previously called the Standard Grant Scheme, so statistics and case studies from previous years refer to this name.
This year the majority of awards will be made through Henry Duncan Awards, funding a huge variety of organisations to carry out an even wider range of work. Many of the organisations funded are small grassroots charities working in their own local communities. Registered charities with an annual income of less than £500,000 can apply to for funding through this programme.
For more information about who can apply, have a look at the Criteria & Principles document. If you are interested in finding out more, please e-mail or call us on 0131 444 4020.
