Awards For All

LOCAL community groups interested in applying for Awards for All funding – which could be for anything between £500 and £10,000 – should note that there are four new outcomes to which each project should contribute. These are:
• People have better chances in life.
• Communities are safer, stronger and more able to work together to tackle inequalities.
• People have better and more sustainable services and environments.
• People and communities are healthier.
Priorities for applications have changed also. The priorities now are:
• Black and ethnic-minority people.
• Disabled people and carers.
• Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
• Older people and their carers.
• Areas that are high on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation.
• Small towns – those with a population between 3000 and 10,000.
• Areas that Awards for All would like see access more Awards for All funding.
Your application does not have to meet any of the priorities, but the application may be stronger if it does.
