HTSI AGM to be followed by Community Planning and the Third Sector Seminar:

The fourth Annual General meeting on the 1st of December 2016 starting at 11.15am. As important as the business of the AGM is they are more excited about the following seminar that will look at the role of the third sector within the new Community Partnership structures within Highland, the Community Empowerment Act and how this all links into the Highland Community Planning Partnership.

Bill Alexander, Director of Care and Learning with The Highland Council, will kick the seminar off by looking at the context of the development of the Community Partnerships within Highland. This will then be followed by a presentation from our Chief Officer who will revisit the CPP section of the Community Empowerment Act and indicative guidance on this section of the Act before we break into facilitated discussion around the role of the sector within the Highland Community Planning Structures.

A networking lunch for attendees will follow to allow for informal questions and discussion of the seminar themes. Everyone is welcome along for the AGM and the Seminar but for catering and other arrangements we would appreciate it if you could email events@highlandtsi.org.uk to confirm attendees names and dietary or access requirements in advance of the event.
