There are two types of grant available…
Start up Grants provide much needed funds to get a new group up and running. New units or groups can apply for a grant of up to £1,000 within the first six months of being started. The CashBack Small Grants Scheme particularly welcomes applications from new groups in areas of deprivation or need. A group receiving a Start up Grant must wait at least 12 months before they can apply for a Programme Grant.
Programme Grants are available to support existing local groups to meet the cost or part of the costs, of a project or programme of activity. Groups that have been established for at least six months can apply for a grant of up to £2,000. Successful groups must then wait at least 12 months before they can re-apply to the CashBack Small Grants Scheme.Closing date 1st September, for more information go to http://www.cashbacksmallgrants.org/
